The ball keeps bouncing back in forth in the match between Amber Heard and Johnny Depp. Just yesterday, Heard’s friend iO Tillett Wright wrote an essay in her defense, but now Johnny Depp has Benicio del Toro in his ring.
Del Toro starred in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas with Depp. Now he’s voiced some startling and blunt opinions about Heard.
“What I know, there’s a lot of trouble from the girl that sounds a little manipulative,” del Toro said. “It sounds a little bit like there’s something really twisted about that girl, but I don’t know the specifics.”
Yikes. But del Toro didn’t stop there. He went on about Heard’s bad timing with filing for divorce just two days after Depp’s mother died.
“It seems the fact that his mom passed away and she filed for divorce two days later and then she wants money and she’s saying she got hit,” he continued. “It’s almost like, wait, I saw them not too long ago. Maybe it was in January, a dinner for the Oscars or something like that.”
The actor also went on to praise Depp, saying he’s “a nice guy, very caring, very smart.”
