The photos included selfies of Adele when she was pregnant, a childhood photo, and, most invasive of all, a pregnancy scan from when the soulful singer was pregnant with Angelo. The scan shows the results of her five-month check-up, which is when most parents find out the sex of the expected baby.
The images began circulating amongst fans online, but one fan was so upset at the invasion that she reported the incident to the artist’s management. The management temporarily took down Adele’s social media pages to stop the photos from being more widely circulated.
“I think it is disgusting that her so-called fans were sending them around and I thought it should be stopped. They are way too private, especially the scan and picture of her when she was pregnant,” the reporting fan said. “If [she] wanted to share these pictures I am sure she would. It would be up to her if she wants intimate pictures like this shown.”

Adele has previously expressed fear of being in the limelight, and this incident no doubt confirms that being a celebrity has its risks. After her highly successful album 21 was released in 2011, she stated about her fame, “It frightened me and got out of control. It grew limbs of its own and did marathon runs.”
The photo theft occurred just days after the hacker behind the leaked Jennifer Lawrence nudes plead guilty to one count of unauthorized access to a protected computer to obtain information.
Adele’s management has not commented on if this theft has been reported to the police.
