Text messages that were supposedly sent between Depp’s assistant Stephen Deuters and Amber Heard revealed a history of violence between the soon-to-be exes.
One text from Deuters read, “When I told him he kicked you, he cried. It was disgusting. And he knows it… He is so very sorry, as he should be.”
Heard replied saying he had done this to her multiple times before and that she always ends up coming back.
Though these texts seem tragic at first glance, Deuters has now reported that no such conversation took place and that the texts are phony. Depp’s assistant stated that he plans on testifying under oath that he never had any conversations with Heard regarding Depp’s supposed violence, and that the actor has never acted violently towards anyone.
Meanwhile, Depp is keeping his head high and still getting his party on. After his band the Hollywood Vampires performed in Denmark on Wednesday, he stayed out until 4:00 in the morning partying.
He was seen sharing champagne with makeup artist Tina Deleuran, who said he was “very polite and pretty sober.”
However, other reports stated that Depp got in a fight with his bodyguard, though Deleuran denied that happened as well. “He didn’t get into a fight,” she said. “That’s so stupid! He was actually giving his bodyguard a hug.”
Depp will be continuing on his European tour before returning to the United States.
Heard, on the other hand, has also had people jumping to her defense. After Depp’s security Jerry Judge accused Heard of lying about her injuries, her ex-boyfriend Alejandro Gomez Monteverde refuted the claims. He told the Daily Mail, “I doubt she’s lying. I mean, that’s a bg lie, that’s a big thing to say. If you’re not telling the truth I don’t think you would say something like that.”
He continued, “That’s a serious accusation. You can really damage somebody’s reputation. I’m really sad for her. I want the best for her, so it saddens me that she’s going through this. I don’t wish this on anybody. From what I know of her she’s a good human being.”
Heard’s friend Raquel Pennington, who lives in the same building as the couple, also admitted to coming to Heard’s aid as Depp attacked her. Heard texted Pennington to come over one night, and when she arrived, she saw Heard “behind the couch, covering her head with her arms and hands as Johnny was loudly screaming at her.”
She added, “I ran over and stood in between Johnny and Amber, begging Johnny to stop yelling at her…Johnny slapped my hands away and screamed fould obscenities at me.”
This is quickly escalating into an extreme case of he-said, she-said, so we’ll have to wait until the court proceedings to hear who is telling the truth here.Read more to get the story so far:
