The court date is finally here–Taylor Swift‘s groper is facing justice.
Several years ago, Taylor Swift claimed that radio host David Mueller grabbed her inappropriately at a meet and greet. Mueller actually initiated the lawsuit, saying that Swift’s claims cost him his job.
Now the two camps are butting heads in court, with both Swift’s mom Andrea and Mueller himself testifying.
Andrea is, of course, convinced her daughter is telling the truth.
“I heard it from my daughter’s mouth,” she said. ” I do not have to ask anyone else.” She then pointed at David Mueller and said, “He sexually assaulted her. Right there. That guy.”
She also described the events of the day of the actual incident. “I walked into her dressing room and she said to me, ‘Mom, a guy just grabbed my a– at the meet and greet. I do not know who he was,'” she stated. “She was shaken, embarrassed, and horribly humiliated, because he grabbed her bare a–.”
Mueller, on the other hand, is admitting to nothing.
“Awkward is the best way to describe the photo,” he said. He added that at most, he touched her rib cage or ribs. “It’s a humiliating experience to be accused of something that despicable.”
The trial will continue on, but for her part Taylor Swift is only seeking one dollar in damages. Instead, she’s taking on the case to set an example for sexual assault victims.
