Bieber has made it clear how he feels about autographs, saying that he wants fans to leave him alone so he can be a real human being. He got a bit aggressive about defending his personal space, however, outside his hotel on Wednesday evening.
Bieber was in Cleveland for the NBA Finals and sporting a Cleveland Cavaliers shirt. He was just returning to his hotel when a 6-foot-5 man named Lamont Richmond asked him for his autograph for his daughters. Bieber apparently responded by saying, “No autographs tonight, motherf***er.”
Up until that point, Richmond stated that the two and Richmond’s friends had been enjoying a pleasant conversation, but the autograph question made Bieber snap.
From the video, it looks like Richmond threw the first punch directly at Bieber’s head. The “Baby” singer landed a couple punches of his own before the two got split up by the crowd.
Before it ended, however, they tumbled into a glass door and then onto the ground.
Richmond later stated that Bieber smelled like booze and that if he had used his “full force” against the 5-foot-9 youngster, he would have “killed” him. Even though Richmond held back, he still came out top dog in the scuffle.
The video of the event that was posted on Snapchat was captioned “Justin Beiber [sic] getting his a** kicked!”
